How long does it take for the trademark registration to come through at INPI?

The INPI process isn't fast. It goes through stages: examination, publication of the application, a period for third parties to oppose it, and the final decision. This usually takes quite a while, sometimes more than a year. Since this timeframe changes depending on the queue and INPI's rules, the best thing is to confirm the current timeline with your accountant at TF Con. What matters is starting early, because protection counts from the date of the application, not from the approval.
