I want to close my MEI because I've stopped being self-employed. How do I do it?

You can close your MEI quickly and online. But first, it's worth checking whether any DAS (the monthly tax payment slip) is still outstanding and filing the final return (the DASN-SIMEI closing declaration). Closing with pending issues can leave debts tied to your CPF later. TF Con checks whether everything is settled, resolves anything left over, and closes it properly for you. That way you shut it down without leaving any trace of a problem. If you have overdue slips, confirm the amounts to be paid with your TF Con accountant before closing.
