What is this DAS-MEI that everyone talks about?

The DAS-MEI is the single slip you pay every month as a MEI. It already includes the INSS (social security) and a bit of tax. You pay a fixed amount and don't have to add up several separate taxes. It's what guarantees your right to INSS benefits, like retirement, and keeps your CNPJ active. TF Con generates this slip and sends it to you, without you having to log into any website.
