What kind of business can't join Simples Nacional?

TF Con · July 07, 2026

Some profiles are excluded by rule. Examples: businesses that exceed the revenue cap, those that have another company as a partner in the business, or those with a partner or headquarters outside the country. Certain activities are also blocked under the list in the law. It's not always possible to know this off the top of your head. That's why, before opening or migrating, TF Con checks your CNAE (business activity code) and your ownership structure. If Simples isn't right for you, we'll show you the best path. What matters is not discovering the problem after the fine.

I just opened my company. Is Simples Nacional right for me? In practice, what changes for me if I fall under Simples? Does everyone under Simples pay the same tax percentage? I've heard about annex 3 and annex 5. Why does this matter to me?
